About us....
Set up and maintained as a family business three generations of Starkey's presently work within the shop, both owners and staff strive to maintain the traditional butcher's shop atmosphere, providing quality meats and a warm friendly service. These photographs were
taken on a busy Saturday morning.... C & G STARKEY strictly adhere to their policy to sell British Steer Beef, Guilt Pork, Texel Lamb and local fresh chickens. All sausages, in their natural casings, are freshly prepared on the premises. The sausages produced includes: Pork, Beef, Lamb & Mint, Old English, Venison, Lincolnshire and Tomato.
As well as making their own sausages, C & G Starkey create their own beef & pork burgers and award winning Pork Pies. The adjacent photograph was taken on a busy Saturday when their dedicated staff are fulfilling the huge demand for their home-made burgers.
The pies are all home-made on the premises, C & G
Starkey have received numerous awards for their quality. Until you taste one of the
pies you will not be able to fully appreciate their breathtaking flavour and excellent

C & G STARKEY has been established since 1981 serving the local
village people of Sherburn in Elmet, North Yorkshire, and the surrounding area. 
Saturdays is the busiest day for C & G Starkey as you can see
their shop window has to be well stocked up.
